ManUp is built privacy-first. The short version: your data stays on your device, and we never collect it.

What we collect

Nothing. ManUp does not have user accounts, does not require sign-in, and does not send your personal information to us or anyone else. We do not run analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not show ads that profile you.

What ManUp stores, and where

Everything you create in the app — your assessment results, path progress, journal entries, mood logs, thought records, favorited quotes, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to export it.

Purchases

ManUp offers a single one-time unlock. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play; ManUp never sees or stores your payment details. We only store, on your device, whether the unlock has been purchased.

Exporting and deleting your data

Export: Me → Export my data writes all your data to a JSON file you can save or share wherever you like. You control where it goes.
Delete: Me → Reset all data permanently erases everything ManUp has stored on your device. Uninstalling the app also removes all of it.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, ManUp schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated and delivered entirely on-device; no reminder data is sent anywhere.

Permissions

Notifications — only if you turn on reminders.
Phone / SMS launch — the "Need help now?" screen can open your dialer or messaging app to reach a crisis line. ManUp does not place calls or send messages itself; it only opens the app you choose.

Children

ManUp is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
